But Tiktok is not a safe platform of video sharing because the United Nations has made many allegations on the Tiktok app of data leaking. According to the UN, In November 2019, a class action lawsuit was filed in California that alleged that TikTok transferred personally-identifiable information of U.S. persons to servers located in China owned by Tencent and Alibaba. If you are also making videos on the TikTok app then be aware.

TikTok is also responsible for the death of many people. According to TikTok death tracker website, there have been a total of 49 people who have lost their lives and 24 have been injured.

After the Coronavirus outbreak, many countries including the USA banned TikTok to boycott China as China is responsible for the COVID-19 epidemic. But, In India it was first banned on 3 April 2019 but on 25 April 2019, the proscription was hoisted after a court in Tamil Nadu inverted its order of proscribing downloads of the app from the App Store and Google Play, following a plea from TikTok developer Bytedance Technology.
